Veta Health Collaborates with the Pediatric Division of Boston Medical Center

Oct 30, 2019 | Company News

Veta Health, the digital health management platform that offers care pathways for disease management and automated care management, provides its technology to the Pediatric Division of Boston Medical Center (BMC) to support clinicians and patients in developmental medicine.

The tool affords BMC’s clinical teams the context and tools needed to provide care in the spaces beyond and between patient visits. Additionally, the focus on extending care to the patient’s time away from the traditional care setting, in turn improves long-term health outcomes.

In addition collaborating with the Pediatric Division of BMC, Veta Health has worked with Nicklaus Children’s Health System (NCHS) in Miami, Florida and Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) in Boston, Massachusetts. The clinical capabilities of the Veta Health platform afford clinical teams the context and tools needed to provide care in the spaces beyond and between patient visits.

As part of the NCHS collaboration, the Veta Health platform expanded on the existing digital management of select NCHS pediatric patients through behavior-based engagement strategies, including tailored health assessments, specific treatment benchmarks, and visibility into personal health trends and data. Five of their clinical departments engaged with the platform.

In January, Veta Health announced its strategic alliance with BCH, whereby it has uniquely acquired the licensing rights to two of the facility’s homegrown technology solutions, TriVox Health and HelpSteps. The acquisition of license to these platforms, which have been deployed in over ten clinics and 15+ clinical areas and reached over 40,000 users to date, has furthered Veta Health’s technological capabilities as well as its care pathway offerings in pediatric population health.
